Now that President Trump has been exonerated of collusion from the Mueller Report, he’s turning his attention to the man who was at the top during #SpyGate.
Per the Epoch Times, Trump had strong opinions when it came to whether or not Obama was aware of what the FBI was doing. “How is it possible that he didn’t know?” he asked. “I mean, we’re talking about pervasive, horrible things that were happening.”
“It would certainly be hard to believe that he didn’t know what was going on,” Trump concluded.

Since the release of special counsel Robert Mueller’s redacted report o the public on Thursday, the Obama administration is coming under fire for its alleged non-handling of Russian interference during the 2016 presidential election.
Obama faced criticism after Attorney General William Barr’s summary revealed there were attempts by Russia to interfere in the 2016 election, but former President Barack Obama was “apparently insufficiently prepared to anticipate and counter these Russian threats,” Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) previously said.
President Donald Trump is now calling out Obama for not being prepared to thwart Russian interference.
“Anything the Russians did concerning the 2016 Election was done while Obama was President,” Trump tweeted late Thursday. “He was told about it and did nothing!”
Anything the Russians did concerning the 2016 Election was done while Obama was President. He was told about it and did nothing! Most importantly, the vote was not affected.

The president isn’t the only one calling out the Obama administration. As IJR Red reported, the Republican National Committee (RNC) accused Obama of doing “absolutely nothing” when it came to Russian meddling.
“Now that the entire Mueller report has been released, it’s clear how much President Obama and his administration completely dropped the ball on Russia’s interference in the 2016 campaign,” the RNC wrote in a statement. “Well before the 2016 election, the Obama admin was aware of Russia’s intentions to interfere in the 2016, and decided to do absolutely nothing about it.”
According to the RNC, the Obama administration was aware of Russian interference as early as 2014.
Meanwhile, the Trump campaign took a victory lap with the report’s release, claiming Trump was “fully and completely exonerated” and noting that “it’s time to investigate the liars who instigated this sham investigation,” as IJR Red reported.
“Now that the collusion and obstruction conspiracy theories have been exposed for the pathetic hoaxes they always were, the Obama-era DOJ and FBI must answer for their misdeeds and the scam that they perpetrated against the American people,” Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale said in a statement. “Justice will be served.”
Mueller’s report noted that the Russian government sought to interfere in the 2016 election, but it concluded that there was no assistance by the Trump campaign to the Russian government.
“While the investigation identified numerous links between individuals with ties to the Russian government and individuals associated with the Trump Campaign, the evidence was not sufficient to support criminal charges,” Mueller wrote in the final report, adding that investigators “did not establish that members of the Trump campaign conspired or coordinated with the Russian government in its election interference activities.”
