BREAKING: Trump Throws Down the Gauntlet After Pelosi Alleges “Cover Up”

On Wednesday, President Trump spoke from the White House, describing his earlier meeting with Democrats, including House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, who had accused him of engaging in a “cover up” just hours before.

Clearly frustrated by the rhetoric coming from Democrats, including Pelosi’s remarks and continued subpoenas and demands for further investigations, Trump explained that he didn’t stay long.

“Instead of walking in, happily into a meeting, I walk in to look at people that have just said that I was doing a cover-up,” said Trump.

“You can’t do it under these circumstances,” the president said, explaining that he told Democrats to “Get these phony investigations over with” before attempting further discussions.

Later in the day, President Trump took to social media to further denounce Democrats, including Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer, as well as Jerry Nadler, Adam Schiff, and others.

“You can’t investigate and legislate simultaneously,” explained Trump, who said Democrats can continue focusing on the Mueller report, “or get back to work.”

Trump supporters agreed, with many expressing their beliefs that Democrats are doing nothing to help themselves ahead of the 2020 election.
