President Trump leads rival Joe Biden in a new post-RNC East Carolina University North Carolina poll.
The new ECU Poll, conducted August 29-30 after the RNC, has Trump leading Biden 49-47%.
North Carolina is a critical swing state with 15 electoral votes at stake where Trump defeated Hillary in 2016, and is expected to be fiercely fought over by both camps in this election cycle.
96% responded that they have made up their mind on who they will vote for and only 4% who answered said they are still open to changing their mind.
This follows a CNBC / Change Research poll that has Biden up by 1 and a Emerson poll that has Trump up by 2 as well.
Trump now leads slightly in the North Carolina RealClearPolitics average for the state.
