Trish Regan has issued a statement, keeping things classy after Fox Business has officially parted ways with her after her controversial comments about the coronavirus.
I have enjoyed my time at FOX and now intend to focus on my family during these troubled times.
I am grateful to my incredible team at FOX Business and for the many opportunities the network has provided me. I’m looking forward to this next chapter in my career.
Earlier, a Fox Business spokesperson said:
“We thank her for her contributions to the network over the years and wish her continued success in her future endeavors. We will continue our reduced live primetime schedule for the foreseeable future in an effort to allocate staff resources to continuous breaking news coverage on the Coronavirus crisis.”
Earlier in the month, Fox Business has already chosen to bench host Trish Regan after she sparked controversy over her remarks about coronavirus.
This was the segment that caused the controversy.
Many on Twitter were not happy about Trish Regan being let go.
I have watched MSNBC, CNN, NYT, WaPo and many more lie, spin, manipulate, doxx and try to utterly destroy this country for the last 3 years but since some at Fox don’t agree with @trish_regan questionings she is gone? Shallow.
I’m a Trish Regan fan. I’ll follow where she goes.

So let me get this straight…
Fox continues to let lying and cheating @donnabrazile pollute their airwaves?
Yet they just parted ways with @trish_regan because she had a common opinion amongst conservatives almost a month ago?
Maybe a good opportunity for @OANN to capitalize!

Meanwhile, Some Democrats felt getting rid of Trish was not enough.
It remains a challenge to figure out what Trish Regan said about coronavirus that was meaningfully different than what Sean Hannity, Jeanine Pirro and Laura Ingraham have said

This is getting 0.00001% level of attention of the breaking news tweet but it really is the salient point: Trish Regan isn’t gone bc of what she said, she’s gone because that + expendable. Hannity is not expendable. https://t.co/idL3rSz3Y8
