MTG blasts Biden after Taliban say they won’t grant him an extension beyond Aug. 31st.

Sunday, President Biden left open the possibility of extending U.S. troop deployments in Afghanistan beyond an Aug. 31 deadline if necessary in order to attempt to fulfill his promise of getting out all Americans who want to get out as well as Afghan allies.

However, the Taliban are pouring cold water on a potential extension.

Taliban spokesman Dr. Suhail Shaheen said in an interview with Sky News “This is something, you can say it’s a red line,.”

“President Biden announced that on 31 of August they would withdraw all their military forces. So if they extend it, that means they are extending occupation while there is no need for that,” he continued.

“If the US or UK were to seek additional time to continue evacuations – the answer is no. Or there would be consequences. It will create mistrust between us. If they are intent on continuing the occupation it will provoke a reaction,” Shaheen added.

In response to the news, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) tweeted:

The Taliban would have NEVER said no to President Trump, but they just told Biden no to extending the August 31st deadline to pull troops.

Biden abandoned Americans and dishonored our military, veterans, and allies.

Biden has disgraced America!

Biden must be impeached!
