During a recent interview, Georgia Democrat Stacey Abrams acknowledged that she is still considering adding her name to the crowded list of Democrat candidates seeking the party’s nomination to oppose President Trump in the 2020 election.
“It has been reported that you are still considering joining the ever-growing Democratic presidential field, is that true?” Abrams was asked, to which she replied, “Yes,” while refusing to go into detail.

After losing her gubernatorial campaign during the 2018 midterms, Abrams has repeatedly hinted at a possible presidential run, leading to further speculation from political pundits.
In April, when asked about her plans for a 2020 presidential run, Abrams replied, “I am thinking about it, I truly am.”
