In an interview with ABC News on Wednesday, Biden vowed that Russia would pay for alleged interference in U.S. elections.
Biden referred to Putin as a “killer.”
Now Russia officials are calling for an apology.
Konstantin Kosachyov, the deputy chairman of the Russian parliament’s upper house blasted President Biden’s comments, calling them “unacceptable.
He wrote on Facebook “I suspect it will not be the last one if no explanation or apology follows from the American side.”
“This kind of assessment is not allowed from the mouth of a statesman of such a rank. This kind of statement is not acceptable under any circumstances,” he added
Meanwhile Putin himself responded to Biden’s “Killer” comment by wishing him good health.
