Moments ago Impeachment Manager Jamie Raskin made two of Trump’s tweets part of his oral argument.
It's Day 2 of Trump's impeachment trial & the first day of House managers' oral arguments.
Lead manager Jamie Raskin opens by arguing Trump was "no innocent bystander," shows past tweets as evidence he promoted Jan. 6.
"He told them to fight like hell & they brought us hell."

In one of the tweets Raskin shows Trump says “WE HAVE JUST BEGUN TO FIGHT!!!”
In another Raskin showed Trump writes “Big protest in D.C. on January 6th. Be there, will be wild!”
Republicans are likely to point out rhetoric that has come from Democrats in the past that is equally or more heated.
For example, Maxine Waters has taken heat for saying “Let’s make sure we show up wherever we have to show up. And if you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out, and you create a crowd. And you push back on them. And you tell them they’re not welcome anymore, anywhere. We’ve got to get the children connected to their parents”
