Per USAToday, a sheriff’s official says two people have been killed in a shooting at an off-campus Texas A&M University-Commerce party that also left at least 14 others injured.

Hunt County Chief Deputy Buddy Oxford says the shooting took place just before midnight Saturday in Greenville, around 15 miles (24 kilometers) southwest of the Commerce campus. Oxford says the shooter remains at large.

The shooting came as the university east of Dallas celebrated homecoming weekend.

Oxford did not have information on the severity of injuries.

Oxford and university officials said the event was a homecoming party but was not a sanctioned school event.

Per Steve Lookner:

There is a video floating around reportedly from the Texas A&M University-Commerce party in Greenville, TX where a mass shooting allegedly occurred. Video shows 2 bodies motionless on the ground with lots of blood. People screaming. Possibly 3rd body in background, hard to tell.

Jason Whitely also confirms the video:

MORE: A couple videos on social media show victims and a gruesome scene. Whereabouts of shooter currently unknown. The mass shooting happened at a party on Homecoming weekend at Texas A&M Commerce — an hour east of Dallas.

Musician BeatKing wrote “This Texas A&M Commerce shooting happened 10 mins right before I got there to perform.”
