BREAKING: List of 120 Catholic Priests Accused of Child Sexual Abuse Released

While Pope Francis has recently been revealed contributing half a million dollars to fund the migrant caravan, he should perhaps be focusing on the rampant pedophilia and child abuse within the archdiocese.

120 names of Catholic clergy members accused of child abuse have been released.

One hundred and twenty names of Catholic clergy members accused of child abuse or possession of child pornography were released Friday by the Archdiocese of New York.

The list includes 53 men who have been deemed by the archdiocese “credibly accused,” an additional  eight are awaiting a final determination from the church, and 58 men on the list had accusations that didn’t meet the archdiocese’s “credibly accused” criteria but their victims were considered eligible for compensation, according to the archdiocese website.

None is in active ministry. Some were defrocked, and others have died.

Among them are clergy who served in the Lower Hudson Valley, including priests Gennaro Gentile and Kenneth Jesselli as well as deacon Albert Mazza, all who served in Holy Name of Mary in Croton-on-Hudson, former president of Archbishop Stepinac High School John O’Keefe and Ralph LaBelle, who served as a priest in the Sacred Heart in Patterson.

The Independent Reconciliation and Compensation Program was created in 2016 to determine compensation for victims of Catholic priest abuse. More than 350 individuals have been received compensation through the program.

The release, from the nation’s second-largest Roman Catholic archdiocese, follows more than 120 such disclosures from other dioceses around the country as the church reckons with demands for transparency about sex abuse by clergy.

The string of voluntary disclosures by top Catholic leaders follows a Pennsylvania grand jury investigation in August which documented the “horrifying scale” of sexual abuse perpetrated by 300 priests on more than 1,000 identified victims spanning nearly eight decades.
