The judge hearing Johnny Depp’s defamation case on Tuesday rejected a motion by Amber Heard’s lawyers to dismiss the case.
Per The Wrap “Heard’s lawyers argued that the op-ed – in which Heard claimed to speak for victims of domestic abuse – was not overtly targeted at Depp, and that the headline (which Depp’s lawyers had referenced throughout the trial) was not written by the “Aquaman” actress.”
Per Rasmussen, the latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 40% of American Adults believe, based on what they know about the case involving accusations of domestic abuse, that Depp is probably telling the truth. Just 10% think Heard is probably telling the truth. Fifty-one percent (51%) are undecided.
