BREAKING: House Passes $25 Billion in “Emergency” Post Office Funding

The Democrat majority House has passed a $25 billion funding for the U.S. Postal service in a bill that turns back new measures aimed at cutting costs and banning an efforts to slow down the mail until 2021.

The bill passed by a vote of 257-150. 26 Republicans joined Democrats.

Per Chad Pergram, Republican Rep. James Comer said “The Democrats’ USPS Conspiracy Theory Act is nothing more than a costly political stunt to the tune of $25 billion. The Postal Service does not need a bailout. They have enough cash on hand to get them through the next year”

President Trump tweeted ahead of the vote “Representatives of the Post Office have repeatedly stated that they DO NOT NEED MONEY, and will not make changes. This is all another HOAX by the Democrats to give 25 Billion unneeded dollars for political purposes, without talking about the Universal Mail-In Ballot Scam….”

….that they are trying to pull off in violation of everything that our Country stands for. Vote NO to the Pelosi/ Schumer money wasting HOAX which is taking place now. Then fight the $51 million unasked for Ballots. Only ABSENTEE BALLOTS are acceptable!”

Rep. Dan Crenshaw tweeted:

What are we voting on today? Not protection for small businesses. Not help for unemployed Americans. Not anything to help a country still struggling. No. Today we are voting on a $25 billion bill to help Democrats push a shameless conspiracy theory. Good work Speaker Pelosi

Speaking for Democrats, Ted Lieu wrote:

Dear @realDonaldTrump: You lie. The Board of @USPS, composed of your appointees, requested $25 billion in funding earlier this year.

The many Americans in rural areas and those who depend on mail delivery for prescription drugs & Social Security checks also know you are lying.
