According to new reports, House Democrats have begun pressuring special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation team to testify before the House Judiciary Committee.
Democrats have been left furious by the outcome of Mueller’s probe, which found no collusion or obstruction on the part of President Trump, igniting a furious response from his political opponents whose hopes of impeachment hinged on the investigation.
In the wake of the report’s conclusion, Democrats have vented their anger on US Attorney General William Barr, demanding continued testimony on the issue, and are now casting their gaze to Mueller and his team.
A source familiar says House Judiciary has begun discussions directly w/ Mueller’s team about coming to testify before the cmte but nothing has been finalized at this point + no date has been set. Previously the Cmte had been in discussions w/ DOJ regarding Mueller’s testimony

While no dates have been set, and details remain murky, the report’s vindication of Trump remains a major point of contention for Democrats, who appear unwilling to accept the conclusion, and eager to drag the collusion issue into the 2020 election.
