U.S. District Judge Nicholas G. Garaufis, who was appointed by Bill Clinton has fully restored the Obama-era DACA program that the Trump administration has attempted to end since 2017.
Garaufis has directed DHS to begin accepting applicants Monday.
The Trump administration can appeal to a federal appeals court or may take the case directly to the Supreme Court for temporary relief from the judge’s order.
