Campaigning in Keene, New Hampshire on Saturday, Democrat Senator and 2020 presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren doubled down on her calls to impeach President Trump, alleging Trump “welcomed” help from Russia during the 2016 election.
“We cannot be an America that says it is OK for a president of the United States to try to block investigations into a foreign attack on our country, or investigations into that president’s own misbehavior,” said Warren.
Warren went on to announce, “I have called on the House to initiate impeachment proceedings, so this is something I think we have to do.”

In the wake of the Mueller report, which cleared President Trump of collusion and obstruction allegations, Warren has sought to stand out from other 2020 Democrat hopefuls by pressing for impeachment.
