BREAKING: Collins sides with Murkowski, Democrats on Replacing Ginsburg After Election

Susan Collins has issued a statement on GOP efforts to replace Ruth Bader Ginsburg prior to the election.

Collins says “In fairness to the American people, who will either be re-electing the President or selecting a new one, the decision on a lifetime appointment to the Supreme Court should be made by the President who is elected on November 3rd.”

Here is here full statement.

Collins now joins Elizabeth Murkowski in being a second confirmed “no” against replacing Ginsburg prior to the election.

Senator Murkowski has announced she will not vote to replace Ginsburg until after election day, saying “fair is fair.”
