BREAKING: California will lose a house seat, Texas will gain two after Census results

The Golden State of California will lose a House Seat for the first time in history after the results of the U.S. Census Bureau were announced Monday.

6 other states New York, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia, will also lose a seat.

States that will gain seats along with electoral votes are Texas (x2) Colorado, Florida, Montana, North Carolina, and Oregon.

California has never, in its history, lost Congressional seats in the Census- mandated reapportionment every 10 years.

That changes today, with the announcement that California will lose a House seat for the first time ever.
