President Trump appears to have gotten a post-Republican convention bounce in a new Morning Consult poll conducted Friday.
In the post-RNC poll, Biden leads by 6% (50-44) and 7 percent are undecided.
The same Morning consult poll taken August 23rd, a day before the RNC, had Biden leading by 10% (52-42.)
The pattern of Trump narrowing the gap matches a new Yahoo News / YouGov poll.
According to the new poll, Biden still has an edge of just over 6 points (47-41)
This compares to Biden leading by just under 9 in the same poll taken at the end of July.
In addition, Biden’s lead in top battleground states has been eroding according to the RealClearPolitics average of top battleground states.
In a new Facebook post, filmmaker Michael Moore warns 2020 could potentially be a repeat of 2016 with another Trump victory.
