Bernie Sanders has jumped to a strong early lead in the Nevada Caucus.
With roughly 3% reporting Sanders has more than a 50% share of delegates.
Biden is in a distant 2nd place, followed by Warren, Buttigieg, then Steyer.
These results are very early but Bernie’s lead is expected to stick, though the margin is uncertain.
Observations from Politico:
Sanders is strong based on early entrance polls.
Volunteers failed to show up at some caucus sites, but state party officials downplayed concerns.
Biden is trying to revive his flagging campaign with a second-place finish.
