5 GOP Lawmakers have now voiced their support for impeaching Trump.
John Katko (R-NY) was the first in the House to publicly support impeaching of Trump and said in a statement “to allow the president of the United States to incite this attack without consequence is a direct threat to the future of our democracy. For that reason, I cannot sit by without taking action. I will vote to impeach this president.”
Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL), who has been a vocal critic of the president prior soon joined him.
