The Arizona Supreme Court has agreed to hear a state election challenge brought by AZ Republican chair Kelli Ward that takes issue with mail-in ballots in Maricopa County.
A lower court had dismissed Ward’s case Friday, leading Ward escalated the challenge to the state’s highest court.
Meanwhile, 28 state Republican legislative members in Arizona called for decertification of results in a Sunday press release.
Arizona House Majority Leader Warren Petersen said “the election should not have been certified with the number of irregularities and allegations of fraud. Especially troubling to me are the allegations surrounding the vendor Dominion.”
He added “It is imperative that a forensic audit occur immediately of the equipment and software. Upon any showing of fraud the legislature should immediately convene to decertify the vote.”
