BREAKING VIDEO: Activists Fume, March after Breonna Taylor Case Charges Announced

Activists are marching in anger over the recently announced Breonna Taylor case charges. Brett Hankison, the officer fired in the Breonna Taylor case in June, has been indicted on three counts of wanton endangerment in the first degree but not charged for her death.

No charges were announced against Myles Cosgrove and Sgt. Johnathan Mattingly, the other two officers involved in the raid.

“Protesters have taken to the streets in Louisville, KY, after AG Cameron announced that Officer Hankison would be charged with 3 counts of wanton endangerment while the other 2 officers were not charged.”

Martin Luther King III wrote “This is a sad day for America and for justice. Today, no one was truly charged for Breonna Taylor’s murder, and her family deserves much better. This is again why elections matter, not just for president. We must vote up and down the ballot by November 3rd. Black Lives Matter.”

Rev Dr. William J. Barber wrote “This is a damnable decision. Police used a battering ram and broke the door off its hinges as they entered Breonna Taylor’s apartment, shooting her at least five times. Anything less than indictments for the full extent of the officers’ actions cannot stand.”

Linda Sarsour wrote “Justice has NOT been served. Rise UP. All across this country. Everywhere. Rise up for #BreonnaTaylor”
