Boebert reacts to report a NY Judge banned father from seeing his toddler over vaccination status

Monday, Rep. Lauren Boebert reacted to news a NY Judge banned a father from seeing his toddler over his vaccination status.

Boebert wrote “Someone’s vaccination status should have no bearing on being able to visit their child or not. This is NOT normal nor should we accept it.”

“They’re taking kids from people for not complying with their jab!” she added.

The NY Post reported “A Manhattan matrimonial judge has suspended a Long Island father’s visitation with his 3-year-old daughter unless he gets vaccinated or submits to weekly COVID-19 tests.”

“Here, in-person parental access by defendant is not in the child’s best interests, and there are exceptional circumstances that support its suspension,” wrote Justice Matthew Cooper, who is presiding over the pair’s divorce and custody dispute.

“My client is not a conspiracy theorist,” the father’s attorney said. “He has concerns about the vaccine. He’s heard about side effects. He once had a bad reaction to a flu vaccine.”
