Biden’s address garners far less viewers than Trump’s first speech to a joint session of Congress

President Biden’s first address to Congress garnered a small fraction of viewers compared to President Trump’s State of the Union addresses during his presidency.

Per Deadline “an estimated 26.9 million people watched the president’s address across 16 broadcast and cable networks, according to Nielsen figures released this afternoon.”

“That’s a steep drop from the 47.7 million who watched Donald Trump’s first speech to a joint session on February 28, 2017,” the report adds.
