Speaking to reporters on the Tarmac in Geneva, President Biden appeared irritated by a persistent question.
“To be a good reporter, you’ve gotta be negative. You’ve gotta have a negative view of life, ok, it seems to me — the way you all — you never ask a positive question,” Biden said.
Biden than apologized “for having been short” with CNN’s Kaitlan Collins.

Earlier, Biden snapped at CNN reporter Collins for asking him about Russian Leader Putin’s behavior.
CNN’s Kaitlan Collins shouted “Why are you so confident he’ll change his behavior Mr. President?”
“I’m not confident,” Biden shouted as he turned back. “What the hell, what do you do all the time?” Biden then raised his finger and asked “When did I say I was confident? What I said was … what will change their behavior is if the rest of the world reacts to them and it diminishes their standing in the world.”
Biden says he's "not confident" Putin and the Kremlin will change their behavior, but "what will change their behavior is that the rest of the world reacts to them and it diminishes their standing in their world. I'm not confident of anything." https://t.co/PLngnYnuuB pic.twitter.com/gzqWW0oU3H
