Wall Street Journal reporter Ken Thomas has reported that 2020 candidate Joe Biden has said he’s open to nominating former President Obama to the Supreme Court.
Thomas tweeted:
Biden asked here in Washington, Iowa, if he would ever nominate former President Obama to serve on the Supreme Court.
“If he’d take it, yes,” Biden says.

Many Democrats loved the idea.
He would be an EXCELLENT Supreme Court Justice. He was made for it.

Hands down. @BarackObama as SCOTUS? Absolutely. He prepared for this his entire life. He’d be up there with the Notorious RBG.

Omg that would be amazing.

Others doubted Obama would even be interested.
It’s hard to imagine Obama would want that. He’s out doing his thing, weighing in when and where he wants, without the constraints of a job.
