Saturday, President Trump warned Iran he was prepared to strike 52 Iranian targets if they were to attack any Americans or American assets.
“Let this serve as a WARNING that if Iran strikes any Americans, or American assets, we have targeted 52 Iranian sites… some at a very high level & important to Iran & the Iranian culture, and those targets, and Iran itself, WILL BE HIT VERY FAST AND VERY HARD. The USA wants no more threats!” Trump tweeted.
Former Vice President reacted to Trump’s tweet while speaking with Bo Erickson of CBS news.
Look, no President has the right to take a country to war without the informed consent of the American people. The informed consent. And right now we have no idea what this guy has in mind. We have no idea. He’s isolated us from our partners.
He’s isolated us from our NATO allies. First time i’m aware NATO allies are treating us and Iran as equals, both of us should back down. Both of us should not move forward.
And this is totally predictable when he moved away from the agreement we had on nuclear power.
