Biden campaign warns Trump on bringing up Hunter Biden at tonight’s debate

The Biden campaign has warned President Trump that bringing up Joe Biden’s embattled son Hunter Biden could backfire.

Biden Campaign spokesperson Andrew Bates in a statement “Joe Biden is ready for anything. But if Donald Trump goes there, it will backfire.”

He continued “The country is reeling from the pandemic because of Donald Trump’s erratic leadership, which has plunged our economy into the worst downturn in 90 years. We don’t but that even Donald Trump is stupid enough to think he can dodge these emergencies with smears about Hunter Biden.”

“For Donald Trump to demonstrate that the only case he can make for himself is to lash out at Joe Biden’s children would be the ultimate admission that his presidency is a weak, pathetic failure,” the Biden surrogate added.

The recently release Senate report on Hunter Biden reveals he received a $3.5 million dollar wire transfer from Elena Baturina, the richest woman in Russia.

The 87 report references the payment to Biden’s investment firm that took place in early 2014.

The report indicated that Baturina, the widow of Yury Luzhkov, the former mayor of Moscow had a “financial relationship” with Biden but did not go into detail on why the wire transfer took place.

“Baturina became Russia’s only female billionaire when her plastics company, Inteko, received a series of Moscow municipal contracts while her husband was mayor,” the report says.
