Barbara Boxer suggests Kamala Harris should apologize if she erred as a prosecutor

Speaking to Yahoo News, former California Senator Barbara Boxer, who held Kamala Harris’ current Senate seat before her, said she should apologize for her record as a prosecutor if there are cases in which she now believes she erred.

During the interview with the Yahoo news “Skullduggery” podcast, Boxer said “I would never tell anybody else what to do, but I do think people want the truth, and you have a record.”

She continued “It’s perfectly right for people to attack it or praise it, and you just have to respond with the truth. … I believe that we all have to take the criticism when we are wrong. There’s nothing wrong with that. You just have to step up and admit it and say, ‘I didn’t see it right.’ She’ll do that.”

Last July, in a moment that some believe market the downfall of Kamala Harris’ run for the Democratic party nomination for President, Tulsi Gabbard attacked Harris on her record on criminal prosecutions in a moment that was widely publicized and shared on social media.
