At least 30 police officers were injured amid chaotic protests in Philadelphia.
Crowds took to the streets in West Philadelphia in response to police shooting and killing an armed man armed with a knife Monday.
Several police cars and dumpsters were set on fire and multiple vehicles vandalized as police struggled to contain the angry crowd.

Philadelphia schools announced “In light of current activities occurring throughout the city, the District is closing all school buildings — except those serving as Early Voting Centers — to ensure staff safety. School Early Voting Centers & District Headquarters at 440 N. Broad St. will remain open.”
