2020 candidate Andrew Yang has filed paperwork to run for NY mayor in 2021 and succeed Bill de Blasio.
Yang live in Manhattan and has not run for city office before but has become a popular figure among the left since his run for President.
Amid reports of his run, Yang tweeted the vague messages Wednesday “2021 is going to be epic.”
He also wrote “Someone was just very good to me and it felt great.”
According to a PPP poll, Yang is currently narrowly favored as a hypothetical candidate for NYC Mayor.
