Thursday, actress and activist Alyssa Milano pleaded to President Biden to take action on “gun violence prevention.”
Milano responded to a tweet that reads:
8 people dead in atlanta on the 16th
10 people dead in boulder on the 22nd
now 4 people dead, one of them a child, in orange, california on the 31st
22 people have been murdered via public shootings in two weeks. this is not normal. this is not okay. this country is sick.
She added:
[email protected], you ran on a platform of gun violence prevention. You won.
I understand you want Congress to act, but until we reform the filibuster, nothing is going to pass in the Senate.
Gun violence is a national health crisis.
It’s time for an executive order. #NoRA
