Alyssa Milano Calls for “Solidarity” for Female Victims After Casting Aside Biden’s Accuser

Just days after making it clear she does not believe Joe Biden’s accuser Tara Reade, calling her accusations a “smear campaign,” activist Alyssa Milano called for “solidarity” for female victims.

Milano tweeted:

I was 7 years old and I didn’t realize it was wrong.

I was 15 years old and I couldn’t see his face.

I was 24 years old and I was scared I’d never work again.

In solidarity…

Needless to say, the reaction was overwhelmingly negative.

Here is just a small sample of the responses.

Per TCO, Rose McGowan, who co-starred with Alyssa Milano in the series “charmed” called Milano a “fraud” for failing to stick up to Joe Biden’s sexual assault accuser Tara Reade.

You are a fraud. This is about holding the media accountable. You go after Trump & Kavanaugh saying Believe Victims, you are a lie. You have always been a lie. The corrupt DNC is in on the smear job of Tara Reade, so are you. SHAME

Alyssa Milano broke her silence on Biden’s #MeToo Accusation against him in a radio interview with Andy Cohen.

Milano said she still supports Biden despite the sexual assault allegation against him by Tara Reade and her being considered one of them leaders of the “believe women” #MeToo movement.

Milano then added:

There is something to the idea that people are going to weaponize for political gain. Just look at the replies here and look to see who those accounts are supporting in the primary. There always needs to be a thorough vetting of accusations.

David Weissman tweeted:

I am willing to bet if a woman accused Bernie Sanders of rape, they would not believe her but use snake emojis with an # just like they did with Elizabeth Warren because they didn’t believe her when she mentioned that Bernie told her that a woman couldn’t be President.

to which Alyssa responded:

Right. This is clearly a smear campaign. And Warren not endorsing Bernie when their policies line up—to me—means she was telling the truth about what he said.

Needless to say, many Twitter users were not impressed.
