All recent polling is pointing to former Vice President defeating Bernie Sanders tonight in Michigan, in what could be a knockout blow.
Of the contests taking place today, Michigan holds the largest delegate pool of 125.
Washington has 89, Missouri 68, Mississippi 36, Idaho 20, and North Dakota 14.
According to the RealClearPolitics count, Biden currently leads Sanders 670 to 574 delegates.
Assuming Biden does win Michigan tonight as he’s widely expected to, the news does not get better for Sanders in terms of primary schedule.
A week later, March 17th the most delegate rich prize will be Florida, with 219 delegates at stake. Sanders has performed dismally in Florida polling.
